GOLD STAR FATHER: Two sons deployed in combat. Son, Army CPL Jason (20), KIA in Mosul, Iraq April 10, 2009. Son, Jared, injured by daily firefights in Afghanistan (2009-2010)…PTSD and TBI. Both sons in 4th Infantry Division. Father of three other sons and a daughter.
ARMY VETERAN: Tuba player in The Continental Army Band, Fort Monroe, Virginia. (1973-1976)
GRADUATE: Virginia Tech (1980). BA Marketing Communications.
FOUNDER & OWNER: Started marketing consulting business in 1985, and purchased The L.W. Ramsey Advertising Agency in 1990, which began 100 years ago in 1923.
FOUNDER & DIRECTOR: The Annual Quad Cities Prayer Breakfast in 1995. Now in 30th year. 1,000 – 2,500 annual attendance.
